U.S.-China talks cover cyber issues, currency, Chinese reform

(Reuters) - U.S. officials appealed to China's self-interest on Wednesday with calls for deeper economic reforms including changes to the exchange rate policy and a halt to cyber theft of trade secrets - actions they said would benefit both nations.

ये डिमांड उस परिवार से की जा रही है, जो केदारनाथ गए दंपति के लौटने का बेसब्री से इंतजार कर रहे हैं। फोन करने वाले के बारे में पीड़ित परिवार ने उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री से मामले की शिकायत की, जिस पर उत्तराखंड के एडीजी बीएस सिद्दू को मामले की जांच सौंप दी गई है।

Several Tibetan monks are reported to have been injured in firing by Chinese paramilitary forces in the western Sichuan region as they gathered to mark the Dalai Lama’s birthday on Saturday, according to reports from several overseas Tibetan groups.

Reports of the unrest came as the top Communist Party of China (CPC) official in charge of ethnic and religious affairs, Yu Zhengsheng, called for “an absolute fight against the Dalai clique” as he toured Tibetan areas of western Gansu province.

Britain to train 2,000 Libyan troops

LONDON — Britain is to train up to 2,000 Libyan troops in a bid to "help them achieve peace and stability across their country", the British defence ministry announced on Tuesday.

"The UK armed forces are to train their Libyan counterparts in basic infantry skills and leadership training with courses beginning later this year," the ministry said in a statement.

2 perish in US jet crash, three Indians among 305 survivors
